The kick-off to the VNA’s $8.6 million capital fundraising campaign for the new McClure-Miller VNA Respite House was held on March 31st.
This campaign, led by Lois McClure and Holly & Bob Miller, is supported by a generous and devoted group of individuals, each with their own strong connection to VNA and Respite House.
Funds raised will cover the costs of purchasing the new site, building construction and fit-up, and an endowment.
Vermont Respite House is a home away from home for people with terminal illness. This unique model in health care is Vermont’s first and only Medicare-certified inpatient hospice residence. Skilled VNA caregivers and volunteers are dedicated to providing a warm, caring and personalized environment for people in the final stages of life.
